EuroPaw Travel provides private pet taxi and pet transport from anywhere in the UK to destinations across Europe. We collect you and your dog or cat from the agreed UK address, cross with LeShuttle and continue by road to the confirmed destination. You travel in the vehicle with your pet throughout the journey.
This is a private passenger-and-pet service. It is not an unaccompanied pet shipping or shared-animal courier service. The route is planned around your collection address, destination, travel date and the needs you tell us about before the journey.

Private pet transport from any UK pickup address
Your journey can start from a home, hotel or another confirmed address in the UK. The collection plan accounts for the distance to Folkestone, the booked LeShuttle crossing and the onward drive from Calais.
We can quote for destinations across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and wider Europe. The country pages below explain some of the most requested corridors:
- Pet taxi from the UK to France
- Pet taxi from the UK to Spain
- Pet transport from the UK to Germany
- Pet transport from the UK to the Netherlands
- Pet taxi from the UK to Belgium
If your destination is not listed, send us both postcodes or full addresses. A route page is not a limit on where we can travel.
You travel in the vehicle with your pet
Many people searching for UK to Europe pet transport are trying to avoid a journey where their dog or cat travels separately. With EuroPaw Travel, the passenger and pet travel together in the same vehicle.
That arrangement lets you keep your pet's familiar carrier, bedding and travel routine close at hand. Dogs can travel using the restraint agreed for the journey, while cats should remain in a suitable secure carrier. Tell us about the number of passengers, pets and luggage when requesting a quote so that the vehicle and space can be checked before booking.
We do not describe this as an unaccompanied relocation service. If the owner will not travel, explain the circumstances before booking so the correct legal and service position can be confirmed.
How the UK to Europe pet taxi journey works
1. Send the route and travel details
Provide the UK pickup address, European destination, preferred travel date, number of passengers, pet details and expected luggage. These details are needed for a useful quote and realistic route plan.
2. Confirm the crossing and collection plan
The road journey is planned towards Folkestone for LeShuttle. The confirmed plan should leave enough time for traffic, check-in and the pet travel checks that apply to your journey.
3. Travel through the Channel Tunnel
You and your pet remain with the vehicle during the crossing. After arrival in Calais, the journey continues by road towards your destination.
4. Continue door to door in Europe
Long-distance routes are planned around suitable breaks and the confirmed addresses. The final timing depends on the route, traffic, crossing conditions and any planned rest or overnight arrangements. We do not publish one journey time for every UK and European address because those journeys are not interchangeable.
Documents for taking a pet from the UK to Europe
For non-commercial travel from Great Britain to the EU, your dog, cat or ferret normally needs a microchip, a valid rabies vaccination and an Animal Health Certificate issued by an official veterinarian. The certificate must be valid when you enter the EU. Your first EU entry point on a LeShuttle journey is in France.
Rules can change and individual destinations may have additional requirements. Read our UK to Europe pet travel documents guide and check the current GOV.UK guidance before travel. Your vet is responsible for issuing and completing the travel document; EuroPaw Travel does not replace veterinary or official border advice.
If you plan to return to Great Britain with a dog, arrange the required tapeworm treatment within the official time window unless your route is exempt. Our dog tapeworm treatment guide explains the return requirement.
What affects a UK to Europe pet transport quote
The quote depends on the confirmed collection and destination addresses, travel date, route, passenger count, pet details, luggage and vehicle requirement. Longer journeys may also need planned rest or overnight arrangements.
The LeShuttle ticket is handled separately from the road-service price under the current EuroPaw pricing model. The final quote should state what is included before you confirm. See the pet taxi pricing guide for the way route pricing is presented on the site.
We do not use a country name alone to promise a fixed price. London to Brussels and northern Scotland to southern Spain are both UK to Europe journeys, but the distance and planning are different.
Find the right route for your journey
Use the pet taxi routes directory to explore journeys by destination and direction. The country guides focus on information for travel to an individual country.
For Europe-to-UK journeys, the directory also lists routes such as Paris to London, Amsterdam to the UK, Frankfurt to the UK and Brussels Airport to London.
Frequently asked questions
Can you collect us from anywhere in the UK?
EuroPaw Travel can quote from any confirmed UK pickup address to a destination in Europe. Send the full addresses because the collection point affects the road distance, crossing plan and price.
Do I travel with my dog or cat?
Yes. EuroPaw Travel's standard service is for passengers travelling in the vehicle with their dog or cat. It is not described as an unaccompanied pet courier service.
Which European countries do you cover?
We can quote for destinations across Europe, including France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and Italy. Ask about your exact destination even if it does not yet have a dedicated page.
Do you use Eurotunnel or a ferry?
The published EuroPaw service uses LeShuttle between Folkestone and Calais. You and your pet stay with the vehicle during the Channel crossing.
What documents does my pet need?
For a typical non-commercial journey from Great Britain to the EU, the starting requirements include a microchip, valid rabies vaccination and Animal Health Certificate. Check the current rules for your destination with GOV.UK, the destination authority and your official veterinarian.
Can you give a quote without the full addresses?
An approximate town-to-town discussion may help at first, but the confirmed quote needs the actual collection and destination details, travel date, passenger count, pet information and expected luggage.
