EuroPaw Travel provides private pet taxi and pet transport from UK addresses to Belgium. We collect you and your dog or cat from the confirmed address, cross from Folkestone to Calais with LeShuttle and continue by road to the Belgian destination.
Routes can be planned for Brussels, Brussels Airport, Antwerp, Bruges, Ghent, Liege, Charleroi and other addresses in Belgium. You remain alongside your pet in the vehicle throughout the journey.

Door-to-door pet transport from the UK to Belgium
Belgium is one of the closest onward destinations after Calais, but the complete trip still depends on the UK collection point and the final Belgian address. A pickup in Kent for Bruges is a different journey from a collection in northern England for Liege or Charleroi.
Send both full addresses when requesting a quote. EuroPaw Travel plans the confirmed route rather than pricing the word Belgium as though every pickup and destination were the same.
For destinations outside Belgium, see the UK to Europe pet taxi and pet transport page.
You and your pet travel together
The EuroPaw service is designed for passengers travelling with their dog or cat in the vehicle. It is not presented as a shared shuttle for unrelated animals or an unaccompanied pet courier.
Dogs need the agreed travel restraint. Cats should remain in a secure carrier suited to the journey. Bring the pet's water, food, medication, familiar bedding and cleaning supplies in accessible luggage.
Tell us about the pet, passenger count and luggage before booking. A large carrier, several suitcases or more than one animal may change the vehicle requirement.
The route from the UK to Brussels, Antwerp and beyond
The journey begins at the UK pickup address and heads to the LeShuttle terminal in Folkestone. After the Channel crossing, the road route continues from Calais into Belgium.
Routes towards Bruges and Ghent remain in western Belgium. Brussels and its airport require a different final approach, while Antwerp, Liege and Charleroi each have their own road plan. Traffic around major cities, the crossing and the confirmed addresses affect the schedule.
EuroPaw does not use one fixed duration for every UK to Belgium pet taxi journey. The timing is reviewed against the actual route and any required breaks.
Pet documents for the UK to Belgium journey
Calais is the first EU entry point. The dog, cat or ferret must meet the EU entry rules there before travelling onward to Belgium.
For a typical non-commercial journey from Great Britain, the starting requirements normally include:
- a microchip;
- a valid rabies vaccination;
- an Animal Health Certificate issued by an official veterinarian;
- the owner declaration and supporting records required for the movement.
Current official guidance should be checked before every trip. Read the UK to Europe pet travel documents guide, then confirm the details with GOV.UK, the Belgian authority and your official veterinarian.
An authorised person travelling instead of the owner may need an additional declaration, and the owner's own journey must meet the applicable timing rule. Explain who will travel when requesting the quote.
Returning from Belgium to Great Britain
The site already has dedicated reverse-direction pages for Brussels Airport to London and Antwerp to the UK. Those pages remain focused on Belgium to UK searches.
For dogs entering Great Britain from Belgium, vet-administered tapeworm treatment is normally required no less than 24 hours and no more than 120 hours before entry. The treatment must be recorded correctly in the accepted travel document. See the dog tapeworm treatment guide and verify the current rule before travel.
What affects the pet taxi quote
The quote needs the UK collection address, Belgian destination, preferred date, passenger count, pet details and luggage. The vehicle requirement, waiting or an agreed route change can also affect the final price.
The current EuroPaw pricing model separates the LeShuttle ticket from the road-service price. Review the pet taxi pricing guide and ask for clarification if the final quote does not make the included journey clear.
Frequently asked questions
Can you collect us anywhere in the UK for a journey to Belgium?
EuroPaw Travel can quote from any confirmed UK pickup address. The address affects the drive to Folkestone and the complete route price.
Do you cover Brussels Airport?
Yes. Routes can be reviewed to Brussels Airport as well as homes, hotels and other confirmed addresses in Brussels.
Can you take us to Antwerp, Bruges or Ghent?
Yes. EuroPaw Travel can quote for these cities and other Belgian destinations. Send the exact address rather than only the city name.
Can I travel in the vehicle with my pet?
Yes. The standard EuroPaw service is for passengers travelling with their dog or cat in the same vehicle.
Does the pet enter the EU in Belgium?
Not on the published LeShuttle route. The pet first enters the EU in France at Calais, then travels onward by road to Belgium.
Does a dog need tapeworm treatment to enter Belgium?
The EuroPaw tapeworm guidance concerns dogs entering or returning to Great Britain from most countries. Always check Belgium's outbound rules and the Great Britain return requirement separately with official sources and your vet.
