For passengers travelling with dogs
For a France-to-UK move with a dog, the route depends on more than the departure city: tell us the dog's size, number of passengers, luggage and preferred date so the vehicle and road plan can be discussed.
You and your dog travel together in a private vehicle throughout. Water and rest stops can be arranged at appropriate points. Quote on request; the Eurotunnel crossing ticket is charged separately.

Yes, dogs usually need tapeworm treatment completed by a vet 24–120 hours before arriving at the UK border. Timing is important, so passengers should plan this carefully with their vet before travel.
Dogs usually need a valid ISO microchip, current rabies vaccination and an accepted travel document. Depending on the journey and where the document was issued, that may be an eligible EU pet passport, an Animal Health Certificate or another accepted document. Dogs also usually need tapeworm treatment before UK entry. Passengers are responsible for ensuring all pet travel documents are correct and valid. We can provide general guidance, but we do not check, approve or validate pet documentation. Please confirm current requirements with your Official Veterinarian and GOV.UK before travel.
