Who is EuroPaw Travel?

A private road journey for owners travelling with their pet.

EuroPaw is the service operator.

EuroPaw Travel is the public-facing website and brand for a private passenger-accompanied pet transport service between Europe and the United Kingdom for people travelling with a dog or cat.

It is a service built around the specifics of your booking: where you are collected, where you are going in the UK, who is travelling, what your pet needs and how much luggage comes with you. The aim is a calm, well-understood journey rather than a one-size-fits-all handover.

We keep the distinction clear: we can explain the practical travel sequence, while owners confirm their pet’s veterinary and border requirements with their vet and current official guidance.

Evidence, plainly stated

Professional standards you can trace.

Two different credentials matter here. One belongs to the company; the other belongs to the driver and the journey they undertake.

01

Company authorisation

A current UK animal transporter authorisation

EuroPaw operates with a current UK animal transporter authorisation issued by APHA within the DEFRA system.

02

Driver licensing

Licensing matched to the journey

Drivers are appropriately licensed for the pet-transport journeys they undertake. This is separate from the company’s animal transporter authorisation.

03

Practical experience

Experience with dogs and cats

Our drivers have experience in pet transport and understand that a cross-border road journey needs clear planning, calm communication and sensible pacing.

APHA is the Animal and Plant Health Agency, an executive agency of DEFRA. The authorisation statement above does not imply an authorisation number or any additional legal status.

The people behind the route

Experience shows up in the small decisions.

Our drivers have experience in pet transport and are appropriately licensed for the journeys they undertake. That means the conversation is practical from the start: how your dog or cat travels, what space is suitable, how luggage fits and where a sensible pause belongs.

A private vehicle, planned properly

Comfort is a planning question.

A passenger-accompanied journey has more to consider than a departure and an arrival. We discuss suitable space, luggage and the practical rhythm of the road before the booking is confirmed.

What happens on the day

A clear handover at every stage.

Pet Reception is part of the journey, not a mystery at the edge of it. Here is the practical sequence we can talk through with you.

01

Before collection

We discuss the collection point, UK destination, date, passengers, pet details, luggage and the space that will suit the journey. You remain responsible for confirming current veterinary and border requirements.

02

On the road

You and your pet travel together in the private vehicle. The route is planned around the booking, with appropriate rest and water stops where the journey calls for them.

03

At Pet Reception

At Pet Reception in Calais, the owner and driver follow the current check-in process before the crossing. EuroPaw Travel can explain the practical sequence, but does not validate veterinary or border documents.

04

After the crossing

Once the crossing is complete, the journey continues towards your agreed UK delivery address. The route and timing are discussed from the details you provide.

Why this service is different

Fewer unknowns for a journey that is already a lot to organise.

You stay with your pet

This is passenger-accompanied transport: owners, pets and luggage travel together rather than arranging a separate unaccompanied pet movement.

One journey to plan

Your collection, crossing, UK delivery, passenger details and luggage are considered as one route from the start.

Comfort is practical

Suitable space and appropriate rest or water stops are part of the conversation, not an afterthought added on the day.

Clear contact

You can speak with EuroPaw Travel before the journey and ask the questions that matter for your particular dog or cat.

A useful conversation

Ready to ask the practical questions?

Tell us the route, the date, who is travelling, what your pet needs and how much luggage you expect to bring. We will discuss availability and the shape of the journey. For documents, owners should confirm the current position with their vet and official sources.

Trust questions

The short answers.

What does the APHA authorisation mean?

EuroPaw operates with a current UK animal transporter authorisation issued by APHA within the DEFRA system. It is a company-level authorisation for animal transport activity.

Does company authorisation mean the same thing as driver licensing?

No. They are separate responsibilities. EuroPaw operates with the current animal transporter authorisation; drivers are appropriately licensed for the pet-transport journeys they undertake.

Do you check or approve my pet’s documents?

No. Owners remain responsible for obtaining and confirming the correct veterinary and border documents. We can provide general journey guidance, but documents should be confirmed with your vet and current official guidance.

What should I include when I contact you?

Send the collection point, UK destination, preferred date, passenger details, pet information and an approximate idea of your luggage. Those details help us discuss the route and suitable space.

Clear guidance, with document responsibility kept where it belongs.
