The short crossing from Calais
Arriving in Calais on foot from the ferry, Calais-Fréthun station or a nearby hotel? Tell us where you are, where the pet is travelling from and where you need to go. Eurostar passenger services have pet restrictions, so an urgent collection enquiry or a document-check question is worth sending with the timing and paperwork details; any short-notice arrangement is subject to confirmation.
Eurotunnel Le Shuttle is vehicle-only. We provide the private vehicle for the crossing, with prices from £240 for Calais to Folkestone and from £440 for Calais to London. The Eurotunnel crossing ticket is charged separately.

The route

Calais collection → UK-bound pet check-in → LeShuttle → Folkestone
At Calais Pet Reception, staff scan the microchip and check the travel document and, where applicable, the dog's tapeworm record. Owners remain responsible for having the correct documents; if checks are not passed, onward travel may be delayed or refused.
