From Amsterdam Schiphol to London the total journey is typically around 6–8 hours, including the 35-minute Eurotunnel crossing. Journey time to Kent and Folkestone is shorter. We plan the route around traffic and your flight schedule.
Yes - this is a passenger service for people travelling with their dog or cat. You travel in the vehicle together with your pet for the entire journey. Please mention any specific needs when requesting a quote.
Yes. We collect from the Schiphol Arrivals hall. Tell us your terminal and flight arrival time when booking and we will coordinate the pickup around your actual landing.
No. Your pet travels in the vehicle with you throughout - including during the Eurotunnel crossing. No cargo hold is used at any stage of the journey.
Yes. The route from Schiphol goes via Belgium and northern France to the Eurotunnel terminal at Coquelles, near Calais. We then cross to Folkestone and continue to your UK destination. Eurotunnel is usually the preferred crossing for passengers travelling with pets because pets stay with you in the vehicle.
Documents passengers may need before travelling include: a valid ISO 15-digit microchip, a current rabies vaccination administered after the microchip was implanted, and an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) issued by an official vet within 10 days of UK arrival. Dogs also need a tapeworm treatment by an authorised vet 24–120 hours before arriving at the UK border. Requirements can change - please confirm current rules with your vet and the official UK government website before travel.
