Passengers are responsible for making sure their pet meets the current entry rules for Great Britain. The required document depends on where it was issued and the circumstances of your journey.

- A valid rabies vaccination
- An accepted travel document, such as an eligible EU pet passport, Animal Health Certificate or Great Britain pet health certificate
- Tapeworm treatment for dogs, normally recorded by a vet 24 to 120 hours before arrival in Great Britain
