Collection from CDG Arrivals
We collect passengers and their pets from all three CDG terminals - Terminal 1, Terminal 2 (which covers 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F and 2G) and Terminal 3. When you book, you give us your flight number and terminal. We track your flight live and adjust the collection time to match your actual landing - not your scheduled arrival.
After you land, you clear passport control and collect your baggage as normal. We meet you at the arrivals area. There is no need to rush - we monitor the flight board and coordinate timing so you are not waiting long once you exit.
If you are travelling with a large dog that required check-in as excess baggage or special cargo, let us know in advance. We plan the vehicle space and schedule around your full pet setup, including carriers, crates, luggage and any food or supplies you are carrying for the journey.
The route from CDG to London
From CDG, we head north on the A1 motorway, joining the A16 towards Calais. The drive from CDG to the Eurotunnel terminal at Coquelles (near Calais) takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic around the Paris ring road and on the A16 approach to Calais.
At Coquelles, we complete the UK-bound pet check-in and document control before boarding Eurotunnel Le Shuttle. Your dog or cat stays in the vehicle with you for the 35-minute tunnel crossing - there is no separation at any point. After arriving in Folkestone, we continue on the M20 and M25 to your London postcode.
Travelling from CDG with a dog
Passengers can travel with dogs of all sizes from CDG - small breeds, medium dogs, large breeds and giant breeds. Your dog stays in the vehicle with you for the entire journey. We are experienced with nervous and anxious dogs and take a calm, unhurried approach throughout.
One of the most important timing points for dogs entering the UK is the tapeworm treatment. Dogs must receive a tapeworm treatment from an authorised vet between 24 and 120 hours before arriving at the UK border - this window is strict. Travelling from CDG with a cat
Cats can travel with their owner from CDG to London. Unlike dogs, cats do not normally require tapeworm treatment to enter the UK - but they do need a valid ISO microchip, a current rabies vaccination, and an Animal Health Certificate issued by an official vet within 10 days of travel. Make sure you have the AHC issued close to your travel date, not months in advance.
Cats should travel in a secure carrier that is comfortable for the journey duration. The Eurotunnel crossing itself is only 35 minutes, but the total CDG to London journey is 5–7 hours, so a well-ventilated carrier with a familiar blanket or item from home can help keep your cat calm. Documents your pet may need
For UK-bound LeShuttle travel, pet check-in and document control take place at the Calais terminal before boarding. The basic requirements for dogs and cats are: a valid ISO 15-digit microchip, a current rabies vaccination (recorded after the microchip was fitted), and an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) issued by an official vet within 10 days of the date of travel. Dogs also require a tapeworm treatment administered by a vet between 24 and 120 hours before presenting at the UK border.
