A sleepy arrival at the airport
Mia's owner had just finished a long journey, collected the luggage and checked that everything was ready for the road. Outside arrivals, the EuroPaw driver was waiting to meet them.
The luggage went into the vehicle and Mia's secure carrier was placed in the passenger area beside her owner. There were no train changes or another taxi to arrange at the other end-just one private drive to Folkestone.
Mia looked around for a moment, then settled back into her blanket.
A quiet drive through France
The route left the busy roads around Orly and continued north towards Calais. Mia stayed in her carrier with her familiar blanket, while her owner sat close enough to reassure her.
At a suitable comfort stop, her owner could check that Mia was settled and had water. For safety, Mia remained inside her secure carrier in the unfamiliar motorway setting before they continued towards the coast.

A check before the crossing
Before leaving, Mia's owner prepared her travel documents. At Calais Pet Reception, Mia's microchip and paperwork were checked before the vehicle continued towards the Le Shuttle terminal.
Everything was in order. Mia had finally woken up-but only because her nap had been interrupted. Her owner could then continue to the crossing with the documents checked.

The private vehicle drove onto Le Shuttle, and Mia stayed safely in her carrier with her owner nearby inside the same vehicle. The crossing takes around 35 minutes.
Her owner glanced down as the train began moving. Mia stretched one paw, gave a quiet purr and went back to sleep. Soon they arrived in Folkestone.
Home, then straight back to bed
After the vehicle left Le Shuttle, the final drive brought Mia and her owner to their home in Folkestone. The luggage was unloaded and Mia was carried inside before she was let out of her carrier.
She looked around, recognised her familiar things, stretched and yawned. Then Mia took a few steps and found her favourite place to sleep.
A long journey was over. Mia's next nap had already begun.
